Why Fit In When You Were Born to Stand Out

So guys, over the past several years I’ve realized that people do not like genuine people. Haha, we are starting off strong because I want this message to open up others eyes.

We literally fight to be good enough for others, only to in return be disappointed in ourselves. Once upon a time, I was a people pleaser. I hated drama and confrontation so I would do my best to keep things at bay by keeping others happy.

I hated myself, but felt like that was the only way I’d ever have friends or people in my corner. Thankfully, over the years I’ve grown to know my worth, and have accepted that I’m not for everyone just like they are not for me.

If you are having to completely change the way you believe, think, speak, etc you need to find new people to surround yourself with.

The society we live in today is dead set on being appealing to the masses. We degrade the media for telling only their version of the story, but still we form opinions based solely off of the information they provide and not the actual facts.

Stop letting others dictate how you feel, and how you should be.The people you are trying to please are not happy with themselves usually, so be an example of genuine humanity. I can tell you now, when they see just how sure of yourself you truly are they’ll either aim to be more like you or distance themselves from you.

Be okay with either because at the end of the day you are living solely for you and the ones who care for you! We were not all created the same for a reason, and I feel like the more open we are to change and uniqueness, the better chances we have of making an actual impact on the world!

Protect your energy, and shine bright Kings and Queens! ✨

Much Love,

Aleisha Kay
